Elaine Thompson-Herah wins heat in 10.82, qualifies for Women’s 100m semi-final at Tokyo Olympics

Elaine Thompson-Herah has won Heat 2 of the women’s 100 metres to qualify for the semi-final at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

Thompson-Herah clocked 10.82 seconds to win her heat and qualify for the semi-final of the women’s 100m scheduled for Saturday, July 31 at 5:15 a.m. Jamaican time or 6:15 a.m. eastern time.
