Jamaica has scored an opening goal during their first Group C Gold Cup match against Suriname at Exploria Stadium in Orlando.
In the 6th minute, Leon Bailey with some fancy footwork and a finish from Shamar Nicholson with a low right-footed shot from outside the box to open the scoring in the first half of the game, pushing Jamaica in a 1-0 lead!

Jamaica is the first Caribbean team to qualify for two consecutive Gold Cup Finals. However, the team lost twice in the finals in 2015 and 2017.
