Elaine Thompson-Herah wins the women’s 200m gold in 21.53, a day after a casual run equaling her personal best of 21.66 to win her semi-final at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
Christine Mboma finished second and Gabrielle Thomas third. Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce finished fourth. Shaunae Miller-Uibo finished last.
Elaine Thompson-Herah has now won 4 Olympic gold medals (2016 and 2020) and 1 Olympic silver.
