Team Jamaica will be chasing relay gold at the IAAF\/BTC World Relays Bahamas 2017 scheduled for April 22-23 in Nassau, Bahamas. The action kicks off at 7 p.m. E.T.<\/p>\n

IAAF\/BTC World Relays Bahamas 2017\u00a0<\/strong>will see 35 teams competing for US$1.26 million in prize money, the Golden Baton trophy and qualification spots for men\u2019s and women\u2019s 4x100m and 4x400m at the IAAF World Championships London 2017.\u00a0Any team who breaks a world record in Nassau will be awarded a US$50,000 bonus by the IAAF.<\/p>\n

The Jamaican teams will be competing to defend two of the eight world relay titles; Yohan Blake<\/strong> will lead the Men\u2019s 4x100m and 4x200m with the absence of sprint legend Usain Bolt<\/strong> and former 100m world record holder Asafa Powell<\/strong>, who pulled out due to injury.\u00a0The live stream will be simultaneously shown on the IAAF\u2019s official YouTube channel<\/a> and Facebook page.<\/p>\n

Our team of men and women will be seeking to dominate the Men\u2019s 4x400m, and the Women\u2019s 4x100m and 4x200m. Rivals United States has those three titles: the Men\u2019s 4x400m, and the Women\u2019s 4x100m and 4x200m.<\/p>\n
