Yohan Blake has gone clean-cut as he prepares to make his mark at the London 2017 World Championships set to kick off Friday, August 4-13.
Blake, who won the 100m world championships title in 2011, will join Usain Bolt, Andre De Grasse, and Justin Gatlin in the men’s 100m heats on Friday at 2:20 PM ET / 1:20 PM Jamaican time as Jamaica seeks to continue its domination of the sprints.
Blake has shared fresh images of himself during a training session at the Stratford training facility in London on Thursday.
The semifinals are set for August 5, 1:05 PM ET / 12:05 PM Jamaican time and the finals
scheduled for August 5, 3:45 PM ET / 2:45 PM Jamaican time.
Blake has run 9.90 (+0.9 m/s ) and 19.97 (+1.0 m/s wind) season’s best times in the men’s 100m and 200m, to become the National 100m and 200m Champion, achieving fourth consecutive victory so far this season.
