Spice and Shaggy’s interview on New York’s Power 105.1 FM ‘The Breakfast Club’ is one of the best dancehall-related interviews we have heard anywhere in the past five years. The 54-minute interview done on Tuesday, June 22, was hilarious, informative, and insightful.
The two Dancehall stars interviewed by The Breakfast Club hosts Charlamagne Tha God, Angela Yee, and DJ Envy spoke on Dancehall’s origins, culture, evolution, and impact on mainstream music. Spice is currently promoting her new and trending single ‘Go Down Deh’ featuring Shaggy and Sean Paul, which comes off her upcoming album, Ten. The album will be available on July 30th.
The dancehall star and two legends have been hitting homeruns on promotion for the single on some of the biggest platforms including The Good Morning America Show, The Wendy Williams Show, and Jimmy Kimmel Live.
