Watch: Man’s racist tirade triggers hostility on JetBlue flight in Jamaica

A JetBlue flight got turbulent before it even took off when a middle-aged white man launched into the racist tirade minutes after boarding a flight at Jamaica’s Norman Manley International to New York this week (October 20).

Shocking footage shows the unidentified man repeatedly using the n-word and shouting ‘all of you guys on this plane are n****’ before claiming that ‘I’m part West African I can say n**** anytime I want’.

The argument escalated, minutes before take-off, between the white man and a black woman over incorrect seating, according to reports. He aggressively screamed in the faces of flight attendants when a flight attendant told him the overhead bin was full. The man also claimed a woman had hit him in the stomach.

He was later removed from the flight in handcuffs to the cheers of passengers.
The man continued with his racist behaviour, doing the Nazi goose-step as he was led away by two officers through Norman Manley International Airport

The man received treatment at the Bellevue Hospital prior to leaving Jamaica on Thursday (October 22). His family made contact with Jamaican authorities shortly after the incident, noting that he suffered from mental illness.
