Asafa Powell has won the Men’s 100m diamond race at the Zurich Diamond League today in Switzerland.

Powell won the race in 9.94 (his 98th sub-10 clocking) ahead of Akani Simbine of South Africa (9.99). Ben Youssef Meite of Ivory Coast finished third in equal time — 9.99
Jamaica’s Olympic 110m hurdles champion Omar McLeod, who also competed in the race finished sixth in 10.12.
Powell previously won the 100m dash at the Lausanne Diamond League meet last week, just a week after helping Jamaica’s Men’s 4x100m Relay team win gold at the Rio Olympics in Brazil.
