Bolt has advanced to the semi-finals for Friday. Olympic hopeful Julian Forte was disqualified following his heartbreaking false start.

In 2012. Bolt was beaten in the finals of the 100m and 200m at the Olympic Trials by younger training partner Yohan Blake. Bolt still made the team in second place, but it meant that he went into the Games as less than the massive favourite he was at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
