From Selling Bag Juice in Linstead Market To Being Proud Holder of a Masters Degree with Distinction

She used to sell bag juice in Linstead Market, Jamaica. This hard working Jamaican went many nights and days with nothing but water to drink. The St. Catherine native never had the support of her father and barely had the support of her mother.

She took turns living with classmates, teachers, a foster family, and in government care. She sold sweets throughout high school to support herself.

Now, at the age of 22, she is the proud holder of a Masters degree with Distinction from the University of Birmingham, placing first in her Masters programme.
