Bond 25 Production released a new behind-the-scenes clip of the upcoming James Bond film in Jamaica that shows director Cary Fukunaga at work capturing Daniel Craig (James Bond 007), Jeffrey Wright (Felix Leiter) and Lashana Lynch (Nomi) on set!
The 25th official James Bond film starring Daniel Craig, which was launched in Jamaica for the first time, began filming shortly after its launch on April 28, 2019.
The plot: Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.
The 007 production will be based at Pinewood Studios in the UK, and on location in London, Italy, Jamaica, and Norway.
The film remains on track for the same release date in April 2020 though Bond 25 production announced on June 22 that Daniel Craig had undergone minor ankle surgery resulting from an injury sustained during filming in Jamaica. Producers said that production will continue whilst Craig is rehabilitating for two weeks post-surgery.
