Mr. Vegas is going full speed ahead with the promotion of the song despite the controversy surrounding his sizzling hot dancehall single titled Give Thanks For Life.
The “Heads High” singer recently collaborated with Overmarz a single titled Hot Rice. However, he found out afterwards that Overmarz had recorded songs with the same title with a number of other artistes. This left Mr. Vegas with no choice but to remove Overmarz from his track and rename it, Give Thanks For Life.
He recently shot a music video for Give Thanks for Life. The video shoot was conducted under the guidance of top-notch music video director Jay Will.
“I recently shot the music video for Give Thanks For Life. It was a lot of hard work, but I had a lot of fun doing it,” the “Gallis” singer said. “Everything was done in a very professional manner and it was a very good production.”
Several scenes of the video were filmed in various sections of Kingston and St. Catherine including Vineyard Town, Halfway Tree and at the Caymanas Golf Course.
“I always like to shoot my videos in places that help to bring out the theme of the song. That’s why I chose places like Vineyard Town and Halfway Tree Park for various scenes in this video,” Mr. Vegas said.
Dancehall star Mr. Vegas recently announced that he plans to be the most dominant artiste in Jamaica for the rest of 2015.
